VK is a Trail Running Shoes shoe created specifically for Vertical Kilometer racing, developed in collaboration with the world champion in this discipline, Urban Zemmer. Weight and volume are reduced to a minimum to ensure the athletes peak performance on the climbs. The uppers are super snug fitting and feature the exclusive Sock-Like(TM) technology, that allows to obtain a single piece of knitted fabric with differentiated stretch panels with thermo adhesive stretch zones and stabilizers. The asymmetrical Ghost-Stream Lace System(TM) is a structural part of the uppers: it provides a 360? snug fit and closes at the sides with concealed laces. The super lightweight rubber sole is present only on the front part of the shoe, with rock-guard on the forefoot and an abrasion resistant, compressed EVA wedge at the rear designed for maximum lightnes and to enhance the vertical boost during the Vertical Races. A rear spoiler in antiskid microfiber facilitates and speeds up wearing and taking off the shoe. VK, zero compromise, sheer verticality.
